Knowing what assets you have and need to maintain is absolutely paramount for building safety.

It's equally important to take a risk-based approach i.e. identifying the biggest risks in your building and tackling those first.

The best way to do this is with a risk register. No need to create this from scratch – SFG20 have developed downloadable Risk Register templates to help you get started.
