SFG20 welcomes Concerto as latest integration partner

Concerto

SFG20 is pleased to welcome leading CAFM software platform Concerto as its latest integration partner. The new partnership gives Concerto clients the opportunity to access SFG20’s industry standard software for building maintenance.

Our API partner network

Concerto is a mobile-enabled property asset management system with CAFM capability.  Its users benefit from a range of web-enabled services including easy asset verification using barcode recognition and straightforward remote data capture. The system simplifies internal processes while improving communication.

Steve Tomkins, Head of Business Development for SFG20, says: “This integration is another significant step for both Concerto and SFG20 clients. The days of manually updating systems are thankfully long gone.

“Combining this with SFG20’s continuously dynamic schedules creates a powerful tool for today’s busy facilities teams who must ensure that their buildings comply with legislation, regulation and evolving maintenance best practice.”

AssetThe SFG20 API solution provides the latest updates directly to the integration partner’s own operating system. This removes the need for manual data configuration, while enabling the latest data to be retrieved.

Concerto Business Development Director James Heysmond says: “The Concerto IWMS/CAFM solution is trusted by many organisations for managing planned, condition, and predictive based maintenance regimes. Concerto welcomes the partnership with SFG20, which our customers recognise as the definitive standard for planned maintenance.”

Mr Heysmond adds: “The partnership will help accelerate the understanding and adoption of the SFG20 standard and its linkages to other best-in-class methodologies and taxonomies. This partnership will not only help our customers ensure their compliance to SFG20 but will lead to the long-term improvement of building performance and compliance.”

SFG20, the industry standard for service and maintenance developed by the Building and Engineering Services Association (BESA), offers an API (Application Programming Interface) solution. The API allows secure integration with third party FM software providers. As a result, integration partners can offer their customers access to SFG20’s database of maintenance schedules.
